RFID is adopted by Finolex Industries for identification and tracking of Pipe fittings received in and dispatched from the warehouse. The cartons are tagged with RFID tags encoded with product code and serial number. These cartons are identified and received in the warehouse through the RFID portals at the entry gate. The dispatch is identified and matched with the pick list through similar RFID portals. The long range hand held readers are used for physical stock reconciliation and identifying the cartons before dispatch.
 

This ensures complete visibility, faster and accurate receipts and dispatch, increased labour productivity and effective inventory control.
