This is one of its kind project deployed by i-TEK for Moser Baer India to identify and track trolleys within the CD production plant. The trolleys are tagged with a special RFID tag which has both HF and UHF transponder. The tag is used to generate the Material Transfer Report using RFID readers mounted on hand held computers. The grading process is automated using RFID. The RFID Portals at key locations keep track of the trolley movement within the production plant. There is complete visibility about which trolley has how many CDs, from which production line and of what quality. The trolley location is identified real-time.
